Student Parking
Important Announcement:
Parking passes go on sale to Seniors only on July 29th and to all other students on August 5th Monday-Thursday only from 7:30 a.m.-2:15 p.m. each day. Cost is $150.00 and parking passes are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Please see the form at the bottom of this page.
Criteria & Expectations
A student may drive his own vehicle to school if he/she has:
- State of Illinois Driver’s License (No tickets will be accepted.) – A copy must be provided to the school.
- Certification of car insurance covering property damage and public liability. – A copy must be provided to the school.
- The parking permit tag should be displayed on the rearview mirror at all times.
- If a student does not regularly drive to school, he/she is asked to fulfill the above conditions so that he/she will not be refused permission to use the lot.
- No exceptions to the above regulations will be made.
- Cars will be towed!!
Parking and Traffic Regulation on High School Property
- Students must park in the assigned student parking lot.
- Cars are not to be removed from the school parking lot during the school day unless by authorized permission.
- Cars must be locked at all times.
- Sitting in cars during the school day is prohibited.
- Speed must, at all times, be in terms of the safety to pedestrians and school buses, but in no case more than 15 miles per hour. Anything more is considered reckless.
- When cars are entering or leaving the high school grounds, they must remain in a single line of traffic and drive at a constant speed of no more than 15 mph.
- If a student purchases a new vehicle, he/she must register the new vehicle on a new form and provide proof of insurance for the new vehicle.
- Misplaced hanging tags will result in a $90 replacement fee.
- All vehicles are subject to search at any time.
