Seal of Biliteracy
About
Round Lake High School is pleased to offer students the opportunity to earn the Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy. This award recognizes students who have demonstrated fluency in English and one other language. The seal will appear on the official transcripts and diplomas of those who earn it. Students who earn the Seal of Biliteracy can receive credit from colleges in the state of Illinois.
The State Commendation in Biliteracy indicates that a student has made significant progress towards proficiency in English and one other language. The Commendation award does not normally earn college credit, but it indicates to employers and college admissions offices that the student has achieved a high level of language ability.
Students who wish to register for the school year 2024-25 Seal of Biliteracy testing should email Ms. Navarro to request enrollment in the Canvas course.
