GOLD

Graduation Opportunity for Learning and Development (GOLD)

Mission

The GOLD program is designed to provide a final opportunity for students who are third or fourth-year students, but one or more years behind with credits. These students previously have had a lack of success in the traditional Round Lake High School classroom as determined by the Response to Intervention (RTL) Problem Solving Team (PST). The overall goals of the GOLD program are:

  • Increase attendance rate for enrolled students to 85%
  • Increasing attendance rate and credit acquisition for students enrolled in the GOLD program
  • Increase the graduation rate for students enrolled to 85%
  • Provide an opportunity for a highly at-risk group of students to graduate from high school and pursue post-secondary options
