Bass Fishing

Mission

To preserve, protect, and enjoy the outdoors by possessing virtues consistent with responsible sportsmen and competitive fishermen.

Round Lake High School’s bass fishing team is focused on introducing young anglers to the sport of competitive bass fishing. Students study bass fishing techniques in order to adapt their fishing to weather and water conditions, temperature, and seasonal fish patterns such as the spawn cycle. Students also learn to manage their time on the water, practice safe boating, and outdoor conservation through stewardship.
