Testing Center

• The testing center will be located in A305 (“Incubator”) and open from periods 3 to 9.  
• Students should pre-register for their make-up summative assessment through Calendly (link to be placed here).  The testing center can accommodate up to 15 students at a time.  If capacity is reached, students will be asked to select a different period to take the summative. 
• Students not pre-registered for a make-up summative will be admitted to the Testing Center after pre-registered students.
• Students must have a free period, lunch, or study hall to complete a make-up summative assessment in the Testing Center during the school day.  Students may not miss a class to visit the Testing Center.  
• Students must present their ID card to the staff member in the Testing Center.  No assessment will be given to a student without an ID. 

Students will create a Securly pass for the test makeup session, and the Testing Center Monitor will approve if they are on the schedule for that period.

• Students must arrive no later than 5 minutes after the class period begins to take a make-up summative, unless the student has a pass from a staff member.
• Special instructions such as time limits, use of calculators, notes, etc. must be indicated by teachers on the test.  Students will not be permitted to deviate from instructions provided by the teacher.
• All assessments must be turned in at the end of each period. No late passes will be issued.
• Students will sit at an assigned desk during testing.

• Once a summative is distributed, a student may not leave the Testing Center until the test is completed and collected. 
• Students may leave with a pass once the make-up assessment is completed.
• Eating and/or drinking (except water) are not allowed.
• Electronic devices/phones must be turned off or muted.  The staff member can ask for devices to be placed in the lock box if there are any concerns with device/phone usage.  
• The Testing Center Monitor will report incidents of cheating to the Dean.
• Assessments can only be released to teachers/staff, never to a student.
