World Language

Learning a second language opens hearts and expands minds. Studies have consistently shown that language learning can increase academic achievement, improve students’ thinking skills, and foster a positive attitude towards other cultures. At Round Lake High School, our World Language teachers are committed to helping all students learn a language. We offer courses in French, Spanish, and Spanish for Heritage Speakers. Students can also earn the Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy. Our department welcomes you to learn about and share our love of languages and cultures from around the world.
