Fine Arts

About

The Round Lake High School Fine Arts Department offers a wide variety of opportunities and experiences for our students.

Students are able to enroll in any introductory level course to learn the fundamentals of Music, Art, and Theatre. From there, they are able to pursue their passion and develop their skills.

In both curricular and extracurricular opportunities, Music students have many opportunities to perform many styles of music including classical, broadway, jazz, and modern trends in instrumental and choral repertoire.

Art students can explore various mediums like drawing, ceramics, painting, and sculpting in the classroom. They also have the opportunity to join the Art Club and the National Art Honor Society to further explore their Visual Art passions.

Drama students learn all aspects of putting on a production.

Students are encouraged to join any of the extracurricular Theatre productions including the two larger productions or the Ghostlight Readers Theatre performances that highlight important historical and cultural movements.

No matter what a student chooses, we look to provide them a way to make a deeper connection to the world around them through the Fine Arts.
